Download Heads Down.

The Mac app is notarized by Apple. macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

What happens next

Open the downloaded file
Double-click Heads Down.dmg in your Downloads folder. macOS may take a few seconds to verify with Apple — that’s normal.
Drag Heads Down to Applications
The DMG window shows the app on the left and a shortcut to your Applications folder on the right. Drag the Heads Down icon onto Applications, then eject the DMG.
Launch from Applications
Open /Applications/Heads Down.app. A small teal circle appears in the top-right of your menu bar. Click it.
Sign in
Enter the email you used at checkout. If your subscription is already active, you skip Checkout and land on the session screen.
Allow browser access
Heads Down asks macOS to read the URL of your active browser tab. Click OK on each browser’s permission prompt. We never see page contents, keystrokes, or screenshots — just URLs and tab titles.
Type a goal. Click Start.
One sentence about what you’re working on. Heads Down quietly checks your tabs every few seconds and brings you back when you wander.
